Come meet some of our beautiful rescues, talk to CARA members, find out more about our events and programs, ask questions about the benefits of Spaying and Neutering your pets…and much more.

We really need your help in finding good homes as we currently have around 300 animals rescued and looked after by our members in their homes.

This is your chance to adopt a rescued animal and give it a forever home!

A RUDE awakening

I slept really late last night and I blame it on Catching Fire, the book I’m reading. I was hoping that I could skip going to work early and just come in after lunch but my cat would have non of that. I don’t remember the exact details but I remember being disturbed by Baby Bebop around 8 am and when I flung my arm on my side, I discovered a pile of cat poop next to me!  I was still groggy and even considered ignoring it (yeah yeah I’m disgusting) but when I looked at it again, I discovered it was a huge pile. Plus it smelled bad so I had to get up. I called the maid to clean up my bed then washed up and ate breakfast. Then she called out to me that the cat also peed on a pillow. BLRRRHHAFLAFLAIFAJasAW.

I saw this show ages ago. A Russian man was able to make his cats do circus tricks. I was thinking “how did he get them to perform? My cats are spoiled and they don’t listen to me.” I wish I could train my Baby Bebop to quit sneaking out from the house. She makes everyone crazy when she does that because she runs so far from the house and refuses to come back even when called.
