Cotton On’s First Flagship Store in the Philippines

Cotton On will finally open a flagship store in the Philippines and it will be in Lucky Chinatown Mall. The mall is located at Reina Regente St. near 168 Mall. Cotton On Philippines is owned by Ben Chua Chan of Bench if I’m not mistaken. My sister will surely love this news.
Speed Dating with the Philippine Volcanoes
Last February 15, 2012, Globe Telecom had a Post-Valentine treat for media people and bloggers at Izakaya in Greenbelt. Ladies got to speed date with some Philippine Volcanoes players that night. Globe required us to take a photo with each member and ask them questions, all within 2 minutes. It was dizzying for me because of the time constraint. Two minutes isn’t enough to get to know each member and take a decent photo with them. Still, it was a fun night even though there were too many women. My estimate is the ratio per player is 4 girls is to 1. Too much competition hehehe.

Last Sunday, I brought my new Shadows Over Camelot board game and got to play with with some Plurkers. Now I’m in love with the game and we decided to get together once a month to play board games. Jovan brought her Carcassonne game. It’s ok by me but I prefer Shadows Over Camelot.
Our dinner for that night. Tom’s sinful Crispy Pata.

Admit it. When you think of plastic surgery, you immediately think of Belo because of their very effective media blitz. But what about other clinics which have affiliations, better services, and more affordable? When I was shopping for a doctor to do my lapband surgery, I researched for a long time until I found the right one for me. The same should be done for plastic surgery because it’s a medical procedure which will have far reaching effects in your life.
I’m going to need plastic surgery when I lose more weight. I will need to get rid of excess skin because I’m beginning to look like a Shar Pei. I also want to get boobs because I lost mine when I lost fat. The face will remain untouched though. I find nothing wrong with a little nip and tuck. When you are feeling insecure about your body and you have the money for it, I say go for it.
I was sent a copy of The New You magazine with the Iza Calzado cover.
THE NEW YOU is a quarterly guide to aesthetic medical tourism in the Philippines. THE NEW YOU is conveniently divided into sections, presenting plastic and cosmetic surgery, non-invasive procedures, cosmetic dentistry, anti-aging products, vitamin and supplements and dermatological treatments. THE NEW YOU is the only publication fit to introduce doctors, clinics and hospitals who compose the cornerstone of medical tourism. THE NEW YOU actively promotes hotels, leisure, entertainment destinations, and entertainment packages which complements MEDICAL TOURISM.

When I got it, I was like “WTF?! Why would somebody send me such a magazine?” but after browsing through it, I found it informative. My favorite piece is about man boobs. I should probably give this magazine copy to Ade Magnaye. ![]()
I’ll be giving away a few copies of the magazine soon but if you can’t wait, you may contact (02) 7296198 or (02) 7295678 M-F 9am-6pm. Or email online_marketing@thenewyou.ph for orders.

I wasn’t afraid of the height, I was more worried if the contraption will support my weight. Well it did and I was able to zipline at ZipCity during the Davao Food Appreciation Tour (DFAT) early this year. It only cost me P250 for the adrenaline rush.

I’m inviting everyone to come to Brown Bag Vintage and Crafts Market on December 9, 2011 at the Filipinas Heritage Library. I will have a booth there to sell my Aromacology products and probably some vintage items. Entrance is completely free and there will be lots of activities for arts and crafts lovers!!! I wish I still have time to do tatting so I can sell them in the bazaar but besides it being time-consuming, the art gives me carpal tunnel. Anyway, I’ll find some other craft but in the meantime, learn other crafts with me on that date. The schedule of activities is as follows:
