You know you’re knee-deep in Korean pop culture when you crave for the food the characters eat in kdramas or manhwas. I’m in that situation now and although I have low tolerance for spicy food, I still want to try ddubokki, kimchi rice, kimchi stew and chicken and beer. The latter seems to be so popular in Korea. I don’t know why though. Anyway, I was in Poblacion, Makati yesterday and I saw a chicken and beer place but I already ate lunch by then so I wasn’t able to try it. I want my chicken and beer delivered, preferably by a hot Korean guy, so I did a bit of Google wizardry but I only found a few online. There must be a list somewhere but it must have been written in Korean. Let me share the few I found. Note that I’ll be listing Korean chicken places with delivery.
Korean Traditional Chicken (Poblacion, Makati)
This was the one I saw yesterday. They have delivery and take-out. According to a review here by Justin D.
Simple, no BS sauces or crazy over the top accoutrements – KTC is DEEP FRIED CHICKEN !!!
Made to order so it takes 20min or so); and served salt/pepper separately. To add a little acidity, comes with traditional pickled scallions and gherkins on the side – nice to nibble on with each wholesome bite of piping hot, crispy chicken bombness!

Chicken & Beer (multiple locations)
This seems to be fried chicken heaven because of the variety of flavors they serve.
I will definitely try their delivery. The Cheeseling fried chicken is intriguing! Sadly, it doesn’t say if they deliver beer as well.
Hoolala (multiple locations)
According to the reviews here, Hoolala serves decent chicken at an affordable price. It doesn’t look like they deliver beer BTW. Menu is also very limited.
Ba-Be-Q (Metrowalk, Pasig)
Hoo! I tend to stay away from restaurants in Metrowalk but since this one fits my criteria (chicken and delivery), I decided to list it.
Metrowalk Commercial Complex
Ugong, Pasig City
Puradak Chicken (Marikina City)
Marikina foodies, rejoice! There is a good Korean chicken place in your area. Well good according to the reviews.
15 Calderon Street
Bon Chon (multiple locations)
You must have tried them by now and they have too many ads already so I need not list their contact number anymore. I find their chicken too dry and I prefer the next one on my list.
Kyochon (multiple locations)
For me, this is a better version of Bon Chon. Chicken is more savory and not dry. Quite pricey though.
Ok Chicken (BF Homes, Paranaque)
So far, this is the only legit chicken and beer delivery I’ve encountered. YES THEY DO DELIVER BEER! Too bad I’m too far from BF Homes. I hope they open a branch in Kapitolyo, Pasig.
If anybody knows other Korean chicken and beer delivery service, please let me know. I am hoping some Koreans residing in Metro Manila get to read this and help me add more places to my list.
